Overview

The Phares Model T6 Panel Mount Process Tachometer is an economical, easy to use, maintenance free device which utilizes proactive sensing to catch potential issues before they become a problem. Proactive sensing provides a soft landing instead of a hard crash. This prevents broken belts, gears, chains, sprockets, shear pin, and stressed, overheated electric motors. Typical applications include belt conveyors, drag conveyors, bucket elevators, fans, blowers, rock crushers, and pumps.

The T6 Process Tachometer features an LED display, 0-10V and 4-20mA analog output signals, and 3 SPDT programmable relays, giving you real time support for your production line. The power of data visibility dramatically improves your production.

The Phares Model T6 Panel Mount Process Tachometer is particularly useful for accurately detecting under-speed conditions. Knowing the status of a machine or process is critical. Under-speed conditions often signal unexpected increases in load, the cause of which may lead to a critical stop.

The T6 Process Tachometer programmable relay outputs are useful for quickly activating stop circuit(s), alarm horns, and alarm beacons. The consequences of process failure are great. Fast response time lessens the impact of a hard crash. Less repairs, less clean up, faster re-start.

The T6 Panel Mount Tachometer uses frequency input to determine the presence of motion or the lack thereof. The relays engage when machine speed reaches the relay set points. The relays remain engaged when machine speed is at or above the set points. When machine speed falls below the set points, the relays drop out, returning to their normal, fail-safe state. Relay set points are adjustable via the T6 Tachometer front panel.
